CMS Accreditation

Tri-County Hospital must abide by all federal and state laws and regulations governing healthcare facilities. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) standards describe “Conditions of Participation” that must be met in order for the hospital to receive reimbursement for providing healthcare services to Medicare and Medicaid patients. In addition, Tri-County Hospital must comply with the laws and regulations governing healthcare facilities in the State of Nebraska. State surveyors perform annual unannounced accreditation surveys covering the State of Nebraska’s laws and regulations.
