Social/Community Resources
Responsible for meeting the social needs of patients, the Patient Services department is one aspect of Social/Community Resources working with families and others responsible for support of the patient.
The department coordinates on a discharge plan for the patient in conjunction with nursing staff, medical staff and other hospital personnel.
