Digital Mammography!

  Digital Mammography Machine

Digital mammography provides a great service for women's health.  One of the benefits of this technology includes an approximate 28% increase in the detection of abnormalities in some women than the previous film system.  Some other benefits include increased patient comfort, shorter exam times, and faster results.  The mammograms are reviewed by a Radiologist and a computer-aided detection system which aids the physicians in detecting abnormalities on the mammogram.

The CR and PACS system provide faster service to our patients and physicians, with a filmless environment.  This allows the physicians to view images from a secure computer.
